Sweat.
At the heart of the sauna experience lies löyly.
A Finnish term used to refer to the spirit or steam released by casting water onto a stack of heated stones. This key signal drives the increase in temperature, which causes our heart rate to increase. As we experience a revitalising cleanse of perspiration, not only do we feel amazing, it’s actually doing wonders for our insides too. Finnish Sauna support with mental health, cardiovascular health, muscle recovery, dementia, chronic pain and so much more.
At Suelta, we are deeply passionate about not compromising our mind and body, we are only gifted with them once.

Chill.
Cold exposure, holds a treasure trove of health benefits.
Whilst it is mentally challenging, braving icy temperatures allows a magical process to unfold. Your blood vessels constrict, your muscles loosen and endorphins are released.
Leaning into the discomfort of cold exposure can also
help to improve your natural stress response.
Embrace our Ice Baths. You'll feel on top of the world!
Suelta encourages you to be brave and embrace the discomfort of cold therapy. Challenge is the path that leads to growth.

Release.
Typically we see a lot of focus on the Sauna practice itself.
However, we feel the most important part is Totonou, the Japanese translation for the blissful and bright feeling you get after your Sauna.
This rest period following your Sauna and cold exposure
if prioritised, will be the most rewarding part!
Take 10 minutes to rest, breathe and
really feel the release of endorphins.
Suelta, ask you to respect your body,
slow down and enjoy the Totonou.
Community.
Sauna culture traditions are built on experiences that create understanding and appreciation for one another. They break down barriers by uniting people, from all backgrounds into a calming solace space where together we are mindful, relaxed, and challenged.
At Suelta we're offering a space that embodies the spirit of community, creating a sense of belonging for everyone.
